Who can forget the one staple that dots food courts across Ontario that has seen little change over the decades in Manchu Wok. Passing by, you will likely be offered a small sample to tempt you into the purchase of a carb loaded lunch, reasonably priced in comparison to offer fare in the court. In fact, we originally were going to split a healthier option in Teriyaki, however upon being ignored in favour of a cell phone by the server, we opted for the empty calories of their neighbor, Manchu Wok.
We shared a three item with noodles and a large ice tea for $14.55 tax in, which is reasonable for the generous serving which should be shared unless a portion is to be taken home. General TSO, spicy and honey chicken on top of a serving of noodles with chopsticks for me and a fork for the little guy. What a nice way to spend a quiet Saturday afternoon! -

This restaurant was just closed by York Region Health inspectors on July 23, 2019 for failing to provide adequate protection against the entrance of insects, vermin, or rodents. Hope Hillcrest kicks them out for good!
